Possess basic management knowledge and in certain cases the necessary professional knowledge to meet the access requirements for the intended professional activities.

Have a valid right of residence in Belgium or in the country where you applied for your professional card.

Visa application form, completed and signed and its copy.

Copies of valid passport (like the bio page, past visas, etc), with validity for at least a year.

Proof that the applicant is exempt from the obligation to hold a work permit (if applicable).

Police and character certificate, attesting to the lack of any convictions for crimes or offences under common law.

You must have a valid passport/travel document, with more than a year validity.

You must have a work contract from a Belgium employer.

You must be of good health and character and should be able to provide evidence.

Additional requirements may be present and will be guided to you by your employer.

Belgium visa application form. Fully completed, printed and signed at the end.

2 identical photos. The photographs should be no older than 3 months and taken according to the Belgium visa photograph requirements & specifications.

Your passport most be valid for at least 3 months beyond the date you exit Belgium and not older than 10 years.

Copies of your previous visas (if applicable).

Language Preference Form (French, German or Dutch). On the other hand, if you choose to complete the application in English, please choose “no preference”.

A cover letter with an explanation of the purpose of the visit and additional details of your trip.

Travel insurance for Belgium and the whole territory of Schengen, with a minimum of 30,000 EUR (33.878 USD) coverage for medical emergencies, and repatriation in case of death.

A valid passport or travel document that most be valid for at least 3 more months beyond the date you plan to leave Belgium (and the Schengen Zone), issued within the last 10 years.
