Copy of valid passport of the applicant and dependents.

Original Letter from a financial institution in Cyprus (Bank, Coop) of a deposit of €30.000, pledged for three years.

Title of ownership or contract of sale of a built property in Cyprus of a minimum market  value of €300.000 (original or true copy).  If the title of ownership has not been obtained yet, the applicant must submit the contract of sale duly stamped by the Stamps Commissioner and the Department of Lands & Surveys and proof of payment for at least €200.000

The amounts paid for the property must be proven to have been transferred to Cyprus from abroad.

Official Statements by the applicant and his/her spouse that they do not intent to undertake any sort of employment in Cyprus.

Health Insurance Policy for the applicant and his/her dependants.

Marriage Certificate duly certified (official and certified translation).

Children’s Birth Certificates duly certified (official and certified translation).

You must have capital of adequate funds. 

Applicant must deposit a minimum capital of €30.000 into an account, which will be pledged for a period of at least three years.

Applicant must prove that he/she has at his/her disposal a secure annual income of at least €30.000.

Applicant should submit, together with the application, title deeds or a sale contract in his/her name and/or his/her spouse, which has been officially filed at the Department of Lands and Surveys, of a real estate, of total market value of at least €300.000 (V.A.T. is not included therein) and official payment receipts of at least €200.000 (excluding V.A.T.).

Applicant must have Health Insurance Policy for the applicant and dependants.

Valid Travel Document, the validity of which should at least cover the duration of the residence permit.

Duly certified copy of Criminal Record issued by the relevant authorities of the country of origin officially translated in Greek or English.

Duly certified original Medical Certificate accompanied by medical examinations for Hepatitis B and C, AIDS, HIV, Syphilis and report of chest x-ray for Tuberculosis.

Hosting Agreement signed between the Research Organization and the applicant.

Statement of financial responsibility for the applicant issued by the Research Organization in accordance with section 4 article 18XB of the Law (L.29(I)/2009).

Receipt of payment of €100 (USD 115) for the application fees.

Applicant must have valid travel documents.

Applicant should not have any criminal record.

Applicant should have hosting agreement from research organization.

Visa application form, completed and signed.

Copies of job offer letter from an employer.

Copies of work experience from previous employers.

Statement of financial responsibility for the applicant (individual or sponsored).

Receipt of payment of the application fees.

Applicant must be a non EU/EEA country citizen.

Applicant must have the employment contract with the terms explained for the purpose of stay.

Applicant must have travel document validity of which should cover the duration of the residence permit.

Applicant must have sufficient mean of subsistence to live in Cyprus.

Applicant must have place of accommodation in Cyprus.
