DOCUMENTS EVIDENCING THE PURPOSE OF RESIDENCE: Credible proof that the applicant is seeking employment or launching a business in Hungary.

DOCUMENTS IN PROOF OF MEANS OF SUBSISTENCE IN HUNGARY: A statement from a Hungarian or foreign financial institution concerning the applicant’s bank account; An income certificate issued by the tax authority for the previous year; An income certificate issued by the employer; A certificate issued by the employer and/or tax authority evidencing regular income received from abroad or other reliable means.

Enclosed with the application for residence permit for the purpose of job-searching or entrepreneurship the applicant shall provide proof of having access to comprehensive health insurance services (in particular on the basis of specific other legislation on the social security system, international agreement, or under specific agreement), or that he/she has the necessary financial resources to cover the costs of such services.

Applicants of residence permit for the purpose of job-searching or entrepreneurship are required to indicate in the application form a genuine Hungarian address as a place of accommodation. For the notification no separate document is required.

During the process, the immigration authority may request further documents, apart from the mandatory enclosures, for ascertaining the relevant facts of the case, and may take further procedural steps as well. The administrative time limit shall not include the length of time between the receipt of the notice for remedying deficiencies until the time of compliance.

Applicant must be able prove that the applicant is seeking employment.

Applicant must have sufficient means of subsistence in Hungary.

Applicant must have comprehensive health insurance.

Applicant must have genuine Hungarian address as a place of accommodation.

Applicant travel document must be valid for at least 3 additional months beyond the date of expiry of the residence permit.

DOCUMENTS VERIFYING THE PURPOSE OF RESIDENCE: The purpose of entry and residence may be verified by a prior agreement concluded with a view to entering into an employment relationship for a fixed period of not more than four years, or an existing employment contract entered into by the employer and the third-country worker for the purpose of highly qualified employment.

DOCUMENTS IN PROOF OF MEANS OF SUBSISTENCE IN HUNGARY: Prior agreement concluded with a view to entering into a contract for the purpose of highly qualified employment, or by an existing employment contract.

DOCUMENTS PROVING THE EXISTENCE OF HUNGARIAN ACCOMMODATION: In the notification of accommodation the third-country national shall enclose the accommodation registration form, prescribed by specific other legislation, signed by the lawful holder of the real estate property.

DOCUMENTS PROVING THE EXISTENCE OF COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH INSURANCE: Enclosed with the application for residence permit the applicant shall provide proof of having access to comprehensive health insurance services (in particular on the basis of specific other legislation on the social security system, international agreement, or under specific agreement), or that he/she has the necessary financial resources to cover the costs of such services.

Applicant must have a valid travel document.

Applicant must be able to verify the purpose of his/her entry and stay.

Applicant must not subject to expulsion or exclusion, and is not considered to represent a threat affecting public policy, public security, national security, or public health of Hungary.

Applicant must not have a SIS been issued for the purposes of refusing his/her entry and residence.

Applicant employment must be justified in line with specific guidelines laid down by the relevant legislation, or on grounds of domestic employment policy considerations.

Applicant must have full healthcare insurance or applied for coverage for healthcare services with respect to all periods when his/her employment relationship carries no insurance.

Applicant must notify the address of his/her accommodation in the territory of Hungary.

Marriage certificate, if the applicant is married and it was not submitted during the procedure for issuing a residence permit.

Legally binding authorial decision on marriage dissolution.

An official document according to the personal right of the minor child about the fact that there is no legal obstacle to the permanent residence of the minor third country national.

Deed proving the entitlement for full health care benefit in Hungary.

Certification of clean criminal record issued by the authorities of the country of permanent or usual place of residence prior to the entry of Hungary, which is not older than 6 months.

Deed proving future place of residence in Hungary (e.g. lease agreement, deed, declaration of acceptance, etc.).

Valid travel document  such as passport must be presented at the time of application.

Applicant must have a place of abode in the territory of Hungary and whose subsistence is ensured.

Applicant must have comprehensive healthcare insurance or sufficient financial resources for healthcare services.

Applicant must have a residence permit or an interim permanent residence permit.

Applicant must have residence is in accordance with the interest of Hungary.

Applicant must register total nominal value of 300,000 in economic interest.

Applicant must lawfully resided in the territory of Hungary continuously for at least the preceding 6 months before the application was submitted.

Applicant residence in the territory of Hungary must not constitute a threat to public security or national security.
