Our verified immigration consultant, Natalia, can streamline the Paraguay Temporary or Permanent Residency process for you and avoid unnecessary complications.

To start the process, you must get a Temporary Residency first. All you need is the following apostilled documents: birth certificate, marriage certificate if applicable, and a police certificate from your home country or the last place of residence for the past 3 years.

You need to come to Paraguay to apply for temporary residency because the government office will take your biometrics. Remember: from October 15th, 2024, the Cédula-chip will take approximately 45 days to be processed. You can come back to pick up your Cédula-chip or stay in the country enjoying great food and community while you wait for it.

After 2 years, you can easily apply for Permanent Residency by submitting local documents such as a Local Police Criminal Record and having a university diploma or an active Tax ID. The best part? You do not need to reside in Paraguay to maintain your Temporary or Permanent Residency, only visit once every 12 months. 😊

Natalia and her team are amazing! I had conversations with other companies that helped with visas to Paraguay. Once I saw the recording of Natalia discussing the process I knew she was very knowledgeable in her field. I had taken the liberty to start my paperwork before I decided to work with Natalia. Once I had my paperwork completed I reached out to her and she looked over my documents and confirmed they were “perfect” as she stated. I booked flights to Asuncion that worked with my schedule. Natalia booked me in based on my timeline. Once I arrived in Paraguay I was met the next morning at my Airbnb by Clara, Natalia’s associate. Clara took myself and two others and we started doing our police fingerprints and then off to the Immigration. It was obvious that Clara was knowledgeable. She seemed to have a professional connection with almost everyone throughout the process. I felt like I was with a good agency and good people. Once that was all done I was taken back to my rental. Natalia kept me informed as to the state of my documents by sending me pictures as the process unfolded. I just received my Cedula and Temporary Residency cards via DHL. I couldn’t be happier. I know that in the future if I need help with tax residency, driver’s license or any other general questions all I need to do is reach out to Natalia and she will be able to assist me. Thanks Natalia! If you are thinking of Paraguay…give Natalia and her team an opportunity Oh! Paraguay is amazing. I loved it. Wished I spoke Spanish but it was overall better than I could have imagined. Can’t wait to go back now that I have the documents
