Details

The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program is a government endeavor to draw foreigners to Malaysia and provide them permission to remain as long as feasible on a five-year renewable Social Visit Pass with multiple entries if they meet specified conditions.

Upon Approval

Following receipt of the conditional permission letter from the Malaysian Immigration Department, successful applicants must comply with the following conditions.

1. Open a MYR 1,000,000 fixed deposit account with a Malaysian bank. After a one-year waiting period, participants may withdraw up to MYR 500,000. However, after the second year and for the duration of the participant's stay in Malaysia under the program, MYR 500,000 must be kept in the account as a minimum balance.
2. Make a medical report available. You should be able to get this medical report from any private hospital or licensed clinic in Malaysia.
3. Own a valid medical insurance coverage that is accepted in Malaysia and be insured by it. For candidates above the age of 59, this criterion is waived.
