  • Yes, absolutely, under the condition that you have reached at least 200,000$ turnover during these 10 years.

  • Yes and no. The VAT is indeed 15% but above a certain turnover you must pay a Solidarity Levy. However, you can also benefit from abatement depending on how many dependents (family) you have under your visa and spendings done on your business. We recommend to book an appointment with a local accountant to be sure of your situation regarding taxation.

  • Not at all. You may use that money as you wish as soon as you are in Mauritius.

  • We recommend to start procedures at least 3 months before arrival.

  • We make sure that you meet all the requirements beforehand.
    The Authorities may ask for further documents to clarify some situations. For instance: a police clearance if there is any serious doubt on offences potentially done by the applicant.
