Temporary Resident Card is issued with a one-year validity period with the possibility of a one-year extension. This applies to students, work permits, wife/husband, parent or child of a foreign citizen who is a holder of a Temporary Resident Card of Armenia or of a foreign citizen holding a Special Passport of Armenia, runs business activity in Armenia or in other cases prescribed by law.

  • Temporary Resident Card is issued to foreign citizens who study in Armenia.
  • Temporary Resident Card is issued to foreign citizens who have work permit in Armenia.
  • Temporary Resident Card is issued to foreign citizens who are wife/husband, parent, or child of a foreign citizen who is a holder of a Temporary Resident Card of Armenia or an Armenian citizen or of a foreign citizen holding a Special Passport of Armenia.
  • Temporary Resident Card is issued to foreign citizens who run business activity in Armenia.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Temporary Residency ?

6 Document Required

  • Application Form.
  • 3 color photos - 35x45 mm.
  • Passport, copy of the passport, the notarized Armenian translation of the passport.
  • Documents supporting the conditions of applying for the residence permit (extension of the permit) in Armenia.
  • Medical certificate.
  • Receipt of payment of the fee. You can pay the fee for the resident card by the E-payments state electronic system, in a bank or on spot with the payment terminals.
