About

The Spanish Self-Employment Visa allows for a foreigner to enter Spain to live and carry out work or professional self-employment activities. This is also a great option for Digital Nomads that are freelancers while we wait for the official Digital Nomad Visa to start taking applications.

Any foreigner, over 18 years of age, who is not a national of an EU Member State or a Schengen State, and who intends to travel to Spain to carry out a gainful activity on their own, may request an initial residence permit.

You must apply in person at the correspondent Consular Office. Remote application is not possible.
