Travelers, remote workers, long-term guests and investors looking for a temporary home away from home are eligible for the Curacao Digital Nomad Visa, also known as @HOME in Curacao program. Whether you want to work remotely, escape the cold winters, or look for investment opportunities (investment settlements), Curaçao welcomes you with open arms.


Curacao welcomes all types of guests. Anyone who meets all the conditions is eligible for a temporary resident visa as a foreign worker.


To be eligible, you must be able to demonstrate that you can work independently at your location using communication technology.

You must also prove that you fit into one of the following three categories: 

  1. You work for and have a contract with an employer that is registered abroad. 
  2. You are registered abroad and conduct business for a company in which you are a partner/shareholder. 
  3. You offer freelance or consulting services to clients who have contracts with fixed facilities abroad.

What are eligibility requirements for the Curacao Digital Nomad Visa?

5 Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a remote worker, digitals nomad, snowbird/hibernator, or investor.
  • Option 1: Work for an employer registered in a foreign country and you have a contract with that employer.
  • Option 2: Conduct the business activity for a company that is registered in a foreign country and of which you are a partner/shareholder.
  • Option 3: Offer freelance or consulting services to clients, whose permanent establishments are in a foreign country, and with whom you have contracts.
  • Be able to work location-independently using telecommunications technologies.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Curacao Digital Nomad Visa?

6 Document Required

  • Completed digital application form.
  • Proof of fee payment: ANG 535, – or ± 294,- USD (fill the circle “Kort Verblijf” for remote workers). You must upload the proof of payment obtained from your transfer (online banking etc.) and fill in the required information in the open fields.
  • Clear copy of the photo page of the applicant’s passport.
  • Medical/Health Insurance (incl. COVID-19 related requirements).
  • Completed Appendix D (proof of payment).
  • Proof of solvency: Recent declaration of assignment, if own company in the country of origin or Recent employer declaration from an employer in the country of origin or a recently certified copy of an employment contract.

  • Entry is not permitted if you have a one-way ticket. You must present a return ticket for your arrival time. This ticket will be sent electronically after successful application for one of the categories after verification.
