Express Entry BC - International Graduate

International student who has graduated from a Canadian university or college in the past three years, you may be eligible for the BC PNP. You need a job offer from a B.C. employer for an indeterminate*, full-time position that typically requires a university or college education.

Please note that your application will not be approved if you are in Canada and do not have valid immigration status, or if you are working without authorization.

What are eligibility requirements for the Express Entry BC - International Graduate?

5 Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicant must meet the criteria for at least one of the federal economic immigration programs subject to, obtain a valid IRCC Express Entry Profile Number, a Job Seeker Validation Code and indicate your interest in immigrating to B.C.and receive a nomination under one of the BC PNP’s EEBC categories.
  • Income requirement: Applicant must meet minimum income requirements according annual wage in B.C., location of residence in B.C. and number of family members.
  • Language Requirements: Applicant have to pass the English language tests of IELTS +, CELPIP + and TEF , for federal category under which you are eligible and provide your language test results from an agency designated by IRCC.
  • Education: Applicant must have a degree, diploma or certificate from an eligible post-secondary institution in Canada. Your education is not eligible if it is a distance education learning program either from abroad or from within Canada. Your undergraduate or graduate degree must be from a Canadian post-secondary institution authorized to grant degrees.
  • Job Offer: Applicant must have an offer of indeterminate, full-time employment from an eligible B.C. employer at a wage that meets industry standards. For more information, check the link.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Express Entry BC - International Graduate?

4 Document Required

  • Proof of English language test results from an agency designated by IRCC.
  • Proof of degree, diploma or certificate from an eligible post-secondary institution in Canada.
  • A written offer of employment on official company letterhead from your employer: The letter must be: signed and dated by an employee, or owner, of the company who is authorized to hire employees, your job title and duties, your rate of pay, your standard hours of work and description of employee benefits.
  • Proof of minimum income requirements according annual wage in B.C., location of residence in B.C. and number of family members.
