6 Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicant must show proof that he/she has been in Belize for one year by using passport/refugees document as evidence.
  • You should be a good character and able to provide evidence (usually a police certificate).
  • You may need to show the proof of income. IncomeTax Statement.
  • You must currently be in a good health and able to priovide evidence (usually a health ceriticate).
  • Additional info: If you are applying a PR via Spouse route then you need provide an assured declaration of support (from spouse).
  • Additional info : if you are applying after buying a property then you must show the document showings that you have access or acquired land in Belize.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Belize Permanent Residence Visa?

  • A copy of belize work permit or temporary residence permit.
  • A valid police certicate obtained in last 6 months.
  • A bank statment for last 6-12 months showing your net worth.
  • A Health Certificate (HIV and VDRL tests) from applicant and family members.
  • Additional info: A notarized declaration of support from your spouse if you are applying via Spouse.
  • Additional info: Land ownership documents in Belize if you are applying via Property owner route.
  • Other additional documents may be required.
