Visitors coming to New Zealand for less than 3 months may be granted a Business Visitor Visa for any of the following reasons: 1. To carry out an official trade mission recognised by the New Zealand government 2. To sell goods and services in New Zealand 3. To buy New Zealand goods and services 4 To negotiate or discuss the set-up, expansion or wind-up of a business in New Zealand 5. To carry out any business with the authorised representatives of an overseas company, body or person. 6. To carry out any other work activities, or stay longer than 3 months, you'll need to apply for a work visa.

  • Visa Application form INZ 1017, completed and signed.
  • Valid passport that's valid for at least 3 months after the date you plan to leave New Zealand.
  • 2 passport size photographs.
  • You have a ticket out of NZ or money to buy one.
  • You are in good health and of good character.
  • Evidence showing you have sufficient funds in your name to support yourself.
  • Evidence of the business in New Zealand.

  • Original and copies of Passport.
  • 2 passport size photographs to prove your identity.
  • Police certificate may also be required by consulate or embassy where you apply.
  • Bank statement for last 6 months.
  • You must have round trip ticket or be sponsored for the cost of travel.
  • Invitation Letter from Business partner or Employment in New Zealand.
