A short-term High Skilled visa is a science or education visa issued to foreigners and stateless persons entering the Republic of Azerbaijan to carry out scientific activity, to attend relevant conferences, seminars, and other scientific events, to get education by enrolling in educational institutions, or to get retrained.

Register on the “Sign up” page.
Fill out the “Application form”.
Submit the application form.
Print the completed application form received by e-mail.

NOTE: Foreigners and stateless persons temporarily staying in the Republic of Azerbaijan for a period of more than 10 days must get registered upon place of stay.

You must have an invitation sent through the consulate from the receiving party at Azerbaijan.

You should have sufficient funds to cover your study and residence at Azerbaijan.
You should have the accommodation details.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Short Term High Skilled Visa?

7 Document Required

Original passport valid for no less than three months after the date of your planned departure from Azerbaijan.
Holders of travel documents must submit valid permanent resident card.
2 passport sized photos (recent and color).
An invitation from a receiving party should be sent through Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Document certifying that person has sufficient funds to pay for his/her expenses related with his/her education and residence in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Copy of flight itinerary (if applicable).
Proof of accommodation at Azerbaijan (if applicable).
