If you wish to work and reside in Belarus for more than 6 months. You need a long-term work visa/Permit (Type-D). A Work permit is issued for a period of 1 (one) year with the right of its extension for 1 (one) year. After the extension it will be necessary to get a new work permit. The employer will register foreign employee in Belarusian citizenship and migration for employment permit.

The processing time for work visa may take from 6-12 weeks from the application day.

You can bring your spouse and kids with you.

The passport remains at the Embassy / Consulate during the entire process of visa proceeding

The general application process is :

  1. Get the employment letter or Work contract from the employer in Belarus

  2. Prepare your visa application and gather other required documents for it.

  3. Apply for a Work visa and prepare to move to Belarus

  • You need a job offer from an employer in Belarus.
  • You need valid travel insurance covering the entire period of stay.
  • You must possess the required skill/experience demanded by the job offered.
  • You need sufficient funds to cover your stay.
  • You should be of good character and health.
  • You need to have details of accommodation at your destination.
  • You need to pay visa fee.
  • You may be asked for additional requirements depending on your nationality/destination country.
  • Educational Transcript (if required).
