If you wish to work and reside in the kingdom of Bhutan for more than 6 months, You need a Long term work visa. Usually, your employer shall seek approval for recruitment from the Department of Labour first. Upon receiving the approval of the Department of Labour under Rule 118, the concerned employer shall process and obtain Work Permit from the respective Immigration Office.

The processing time for work visa may take from 6-12 weeks from the application day.

You can bring your spouse and kids with you.
