Study permit for third country nationals in Croatia (Temporary residence)

  • Applicant must pay visa fee.
  • Applicant must have valid travel documents.
  • Applicant must have valid travel health insurance.
  • Applicant must have sufficient means of subsistence to stay in Croatia.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Student Residence Permit?

9 Document Required

  • Valid travel document: The validity period of the travel document should exceed that of the visa by three months and must be issued in the previous 10 years.
  • A 35x45mm colour photo.
  • A medical insurance valid for the EU member states for the whole period of the trip, covering all costs for repatriation and for urgent medical care and emergency hospital treatment for the period of the stay indicated in the visa. The insurance amount cannot be less than 30 thousand euro.
  • Document of evidence of paid visa fee.
  • Document to prove the purpose of the stay in Croatia.
  • University/college enrollment confirmation Letter.
  • Document of ensured accommodation.
  • Documents of means of subsistence to cover the stay in Croatia and the return to the country of origin or to a third country.
