Valid travel document with validity period of at least 3 months longer than the period of requested residence permit.
Should not have been subject to a refusal of entry into the Republic of Kosovo.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Temporary Residence - Higher Education/Scientific Research?

8 Document Required

Evidence on enrollment in any of higher educational institutions in the Republic of Kosovo (except for scientific research).
Sufficient means for living which are proven through bank statement, or other evidences that proves that the foreigner has adequate means of living.
Evidence for accommodation.
Evidence that the citizen is not convicted, and evidence that is not under investigation by state, whose citizen is a foreigner or from a former state of residence, translated into one of the official languages in the Republic of Kosovo.
Health insurance.
Evidences for cases when we are dealing with students exchange and youth movement or evidence for practice from the authorized organization, or on the basis of international agreements, as well as agreements among universities, as defined in the Article 57 sub-paragraph 1.2 and 1.3 of the Law on Foreigners (except for scientific research).
Proof of vaccination in cases when a foreigner comes from a country which is declared of having epidemic status.
The foreigner should submit also the invitation from the licensed institution of the Republic of Kosovo.
