  • You must have a valid passport or travel document.
  • You must be enrolled in a higher education institution in Lithuania.
  • You must have a health insurance.
  • You must show the accommodation details in Lithuania.
  • You must have sufficient funds to cover your studies or a scholarship which states that it will cover your entire tuition fees.
  • If you are under-age,then you need consent of parents or one of them or the tutor or another legal representative for studies and residence in Lithuania.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Student Resident Permit?

10 Document Required

  • The application of the set form for issue a Temporary Residence Permit in Lithuania.
  • The passport/valid travel document.
  • The valid visa, if the application is submitted after arrival of the alien to Lithuania.
  • A photo relevant to the age (40x60mm).
  • Enrollment certificate from the university of Lithuania.
  • A mediatory letter issued by the said higher education institution.
  • In case of under-age: Consent letter from parents or tutor for the studies and residence in Lithuania.
  • The document certifying that you have sufficient means of subsistence and (or) get income for living in Lithuania on a regular basis.
  • The document of the place of residence in Lithuania.
  • The health insurance.
