What are eligibility requirements for the Netherlands Working Holiday Visa ?

8 Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicant must intend primarily to holiday in the Netherlands
  • Applicant must be aged between 18 and 30 inclusive years at the time of application
  • Applicant must not accompanied by dependent children
  • Applicant must have not previously held a residence permit for exchange in the Netherlands
  • Applicant must have a valid passport and a return travel ticket or sufficient funds with which to purchase such a ticket
  • Applicant must have enough funds for maintenance during the period of initial stay in The Netherlands
  • Applicant must have a medical and comprehensive hospitalization insurance to remain in force throughout stay in the Netherlands.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Netherlands Working Holiday Visa ?

  • Visa application form, completed and signed
  • Copies of birth certificate
  • Copies of valid passport (like the bio page, past visas, etc)
  • Copies of return travel ticket or sufficient funds with which to purchase such a ticket
  • Copies of proof of sufficient funds (bank statements, credit card statements, bank drafts or travelers cheques.)
  • Copies of travel health insurance
