What are eligibility requirements for the Netherlands Investor visa?

9 Eligibility Requirements

  • You invest a minimum amount of €1,250,000 in a company that is based in the Netherlands or in a fund that, according to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, falls within the SEED regulation, a participation fund or contractual partnership that invests in a company in the Netherlands. Investing in real estate for private occupation is excluded.
  • You deposit the amount to be invested into a bank account of a Dutch bank or a bank of an EU Member State with a branch in the Netherlands.
  • Your investment must add value for the Dutch economy. This will be assessed by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
  • Investment should meet criteria like within 5 years 10 jobs be created, a contribution is made to increasing the innovativeness of the Dutch company or non-financial added value;such as specific knowledge, networks, clients and active involvement of the investor.
  • The capital which is invested has not been gained through illegitimate means.
  • You have not previously been in the Netherlands illegally.
  • You must have a valid passport or another travel document. A child may be included in the passport of one of the parents.
  • You must be willing sign an antecedents certificate providing information on your clean criminal record.
  • After having arrived in the Netherlands, you must be willing to undergo a medical test for tuberculosis.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Netherlands Investor visa?

6 Document Required

  • A copy of the passport with your identity details. Make copies of all the pages with travel stamps as well.
  • A declaration of clean criminal record.
  • A declaration of you have not been previously in Netherlands Illegally
  • A declaration of you t have not submitted any incorrect data during earlier residence procedures.
  • A statement from the bank’s Dutch branch showing that the minimum amount of €1,250,000 to be invested has been deposited in the Netherlands.
  • You must have his fingerprints and facial image (passport photo) taken to determine his identity.
