A working holiday visa is a residence permit allowing you to undertake employment and holiday (and sometimes study) in Peru, For many young people, holding a working holiday visa enables you to experience living in Peru without undergoing the usual costly expenses of finding work sponsorship in advance or going on expensive university exchange programmes.

What are eligibility requirements for the Peru Working Holiday Visa?

6 Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicant must be a national of Republic of Chile
  • Applicant must be at least 18 and no more than 30 years old ( inclusive) at the time of application.
  • Applicant must not be accompanied by children.
  • Applicant must have return travel ticket or sufficient funds with which to purchase such a ticket.
  • Applicant must have enough funds for maintenance during the period of initial stay in Peru..
  • Applicant must have comprehensive health insurance in Peru.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Peru Working Holiday Visa?

8 Document Required

  • Visa application form, completed and signed
  • Copies of valid passport (like the bio page, past visas, etc)
  • Copies of proof of sufficient funds e.g bank statements, credit cards statements, travel cheques.
  • Copies of clean criminal record certificate.
  • Copies of valid travel health insurance
  • Copies of hotel bookings or accommodation details (hold accommodation for at least your first day in Peru).
  • One recent passport-size photograph (a colored clear picture with a white background)
  • Copies of return flight ticket or proof of sufficient funds to purchase such a ticket
