5 Eligibility Requirements

  • You must have a travel document valid for at least three months after the estimated day of exit from Romania.
  • You must have a proof of meeting the requirements provided for by the special law.
  • You must have a travel medical insurance for the validity period of the visa.
  • You must have clean criminal record.
  • You must have sufficient funds in Romania.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Economic activities (symbol D/AE)?

7 Document Required

  • The application form, appropriately filled in and signed;
  • 2 recent colour photos (size 3x4cm).
  • A valid travel document that is recognized by Romania.
  • The legally required documents that justify the purpose of the trip, the duration of stay and the possibility to return to the country of origin or to continue the travel to another country after the stay in Romania.
  • The applicant’s criminal record, or any other document bearing the same legal value, issued by the authorities in the state of domicile or residence, bearing an apostle or extra-legalization, as the case may be.
  • Proof of financial means in the amount of EUR 50/day for the entire period, but not less than EUR 500 or the equivalent in convertible currency.
  • Travel medical insurance in amount of at least EUR 30,000.
