A working holiday visa is a residence permit allowing you to undertake employment and holiday (and sometimes study) in San Marino, For many young people, holding a working holiday visa enables you to experience living in San Marino without undergoing the usual costly expenses of finding work sponsorship in advance or going on expensive university exchange programmes.


You need to:

• have enough money to pay for a return ticket, and

• be coming mainly on holiday, with work being a secondary intention.


Family: You can not bring your children or family members.


Age: Available between the ages of 18 and 35 at the time of application.


Duration: 12 Months.


Note: You can stay and work in San Marino for up to 12 months, however, you can only work for an employer for a maximum of 6 months.

  • You must be a Canadian citizen.
  • You must be 18-35 years old (inclusive).
  • You must have a valid Working Holiday visa from another country in the Schengen area.
  • You must have a valid Canadian passport.
  • You must hold a return ticket or sufficient financial resources to cover its costs.
  • You must have sufficient financial resources to cover expenses for duration of the stay.
  • You must have adequate health insurance in San Marino.

  • Copies of valid passport (like the bio page, past visas, etc.).
