If you do seasonal work for more than 90 days, you may obtain a single permit for residence and seasonal work.

You may extend the permit with the same or another employer or contracting authority, but the total duration must not exceed six months or seven months in exceptional cases.

  • You need a valid for at least three months after the intended stay in Slovenia.
  • You need a work contract with an employer in Slovenia for seasonal work.
  • You need a valid travel health insurance of at least €30,000 (US$34,77).
  • You need a clean criminal record from the country of origin or place of residence.
  • You need sufficient means of subsistence.
  • You need verified public evidence.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Seasonal Worker Permit?

7 Document Required

  • Application form, completed and signed.
  • Copy of contract signed by you and the employer.
  • Copies of valid travel document.
  • Copies of valid travel health insurance.
  • Copies of clean criminal record from the country of origin or place of residence.
  • Copies of proof of sufficient funds for example: Bank statements, etc.
  • All the required documents should be translated in Slovenian.
