  • You need a passport valid for at least 6 months
  • You need an invitation or enrollment from educational institute
  • You need sufficient funds to cover stay period
  • You need relevant education
  • You need valid travel insurance

Which documents do I need to apply for the Korea Research Study Visa?

8 Document Required

  • Visa Application Form (Form No. 17)
  • A photo in a standard format
  • Copies of valid passport
  • A copy of Business Registration Certificate (or Registration Number Certificate) of a respective education institute
  • Documents proving your engagement in the research activities
  • Original copy of document indicating the final level of education (for those who earned master’s degree or higher)
  • Original copy of document proving your financial ability to support yourself (i.e. bank statement, a receipt of research allowance)
  • The head of Korean diplomatic missions abroad may request for additional documents depending on the condition of the country of residence/jurisdiction if it is deemed necessary for visa evaluation.
