About

Foreigners are legally required to obtain a work visa (D visa) which provide you with full authorization to live and work in Spain. Approval of a work visa (D visa) is generally subject to the applicant’s level of work experience. The D visa is usually issued for three months, but may also be issued for up to twelve months. After arriving in Spain you have to apply for a residence permit within the 3 months which is valid for a year.

As Spain is a part of Schengen union, so, holders of type D visas are permitted to circulate freely in Schengen countries (other than the issued country) for a period of not more than 90 days per half-year and only if the visa is valid.

The processing time for a Work visa may take from 6-12 weeks from the application day.
