Foreigners who wish to take up employment in Switzerland, need to apply for a work Visa.

Once you have found employment, the employer then seeks authorisation for a work visa on your behalf from the authorities in Switzerland while you apply for an entry visa in your home country.   • Copies of job advertisements by employer (press or online)
  • Recent passport size photo
  • Copies of work experience from previous employers
  • Copies of job offer letter from an employer
  • Copies of valid passport (like the bio page, past visas, etc)
  • If you are not a national of your country of residence, please provide proof of your legal residency in this country (e.g. residence permit, etc.)
  • Identity documents like birth certificate, marriage certificate, common law certificate (as applicable)
