7 Eligibility Requirements

  • You must have a valid passport or travel document.
  • You must engage into large scale investment business including agriculture and animal husbandry.
  • You must have the financial evidences for investment.
  • You must be able to show the business details including plan, premises detail, etc. (as applicable).
  • You must obtain a valid work work permit from the Labor Department.
  • You must have Sectorial approval from any relevant Ministry (if needed).
  • Additional requirements might be present on case basis.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Class A Resident Permit - Large Scale Investors?

13 Document Required

  • Memorandum and Articles of Association for Company by liability.
  • Extract from the registrar-for business names, including Certificate of incorporation/compliance.
  • Valid Business license.
  • Certificate of registration for Taxpayers Identification Number (TIN) and Value Added Tax (VAT) (as applicable).
  • Current status of Shareholders /Directors from BRELA.(Brela Notice over Shareholder status) with their immigration status.
  • Evidence of the capital that has been invested in the company in terms of cash and lists of assets. i.e. Bank statement/financial statement.
  • Other financial documents like share agreements, tax clearance slips, payment slips etc. (as applicable).
  • Copy of passport all pages authenticating nationality and validity of passport.
  • A covering letter from the applicant with CV.
  • 6 photographs.
  • TIF 1 forms in duplicate duly filled in.
  • Power of attorney for a person given power as a Director.
  • Any other evidence as may be required by the Office of Commissioner General.
