You must have a valid passport.
You must be enrolled in one of the approved schools/universities in Trinidad and Tobago.
You must obtain the acceptance letter from the respective enrolled school/university.
You must have financial support to cover your stay.
You must have accommodation in Trinidad and Tobago to cover your stay.
You must be of good health.
Additional requirements may be present on case basis.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Student Permit?

12 Document Required

Student Permit Application.
Copy of the bio-data page of applicant’s passport.
Letter of Acceptance from the School/University enrolled at.
Receipt of Payment of tuition fees or scholarship proving that the tuition fees will be covered.
Letter of responsibility and/or financial support from host - if staying with a relative or friend.
Copy of Bio Data page of passport of host (as applicable).
Receipt of payment of accommodation - Board and Lodge.
Valid Return Ticket or Security Bond/Landing Deposit (as applicable).
Interview/Information Sheet.
Evidence of funds/financial support.
Medical certificates (as applicable).
Additional documents may be required on case basis.
