WORK VISA CAN BE REQUESTED BY THOSE PEOPLE WHO INTEND TO DEVELOP A WORK ACTIVITY IN URUGUAY. THE VALIDITY OF THE VISA IS 30 DAYS WITH A SINGLE ENTRY, FROM THE DATE OF ENTRY TO THE COUNTRY IN WHICH THE APPLICANT MAY APPLY FOR RESIDENCY IN URUGUAY. THE APPLICANT SHOULD BE ABOVE 18 YEARS OF AGE.

  • You need a job offer from an employer in Uruguay.
  • You need a reference in Uruguay.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Work Visa?

  • Complete Visa Application Form.
  • A recent passport size photo.
  • Photocopy of the Passport.
  • Letter of a promise of work extended by company or institution duly registered in Uruguay, in accordance with the national legislation in force. It must include the company's data, information on the business activity, number of registrations in DGI and BPS, as well as personal data and signature of the legal representative of the company.
  • 2 Photocopy of identity document of the reference in Uruguay.
  • Visa fee payment receipt.
