A completed and signed visa application form.

Copy of passport/travel document with blank pages for the visa and which is valid for more than 12 months.

An attestation of registration as a regular student in higher education delivered by an educational establishment organized, recognized or subsidized by the public authorities.

If applicant is following part-time education, proof that the said education is to be the principal activity and a preparation for or complement to full-time education (detailed study plan and supporting letter).

If applicant is following a preparatory year ahead of higher education, proof of the preparatory character of the education with regard to the higher education studies envisaged (detailed study plan, supporting letter and, where possible, an attestation by the relevant higher education establishment authorizing the taking of registrations at the end of the preparatory year.

Education certificates like secondary school (high school) end of studies diploma, Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree, alongside a transcript of your grades.

Proof that you are the recipient of a grant or proof of independent financial means of support.

A medical certificate and Police certificate.

You must have a written confirmation from your chosen higher education institution.

You must have sufficient financial means to support your studies and stay in Belgium.

You must be of good health and character.

Belgium visa application form. Fully completed, printed and signed at the end.

2 identical photos. The photographs should be no older than 3 months and taken according to the Belgium visa photograph requirements & specifications.

Your passport most be valid for at least 3 months beyond the date you exit Belgium and not older than 10 years.

Copies of your previous visas (if applicable).

Language Preference Form (French, German or Dutch). On the other hand, if you choose to complete the application in English, please choose “no preference”.

A cover letter with an explanation of the purpose of the visit and additional details of your trip.

Travel insurance for Belgium and the whole territory of Schengen, with a minimum of 30,000 EUR (33.878 USD) coverage for medical emergencies, and repatriation in case of death.

A valid passport or travel document that most be valid for at least 3 more months beyond the date you plan to leave Belgium (and the Schengen Zone), issued within the last 10 years.

A visa – if you are subject to the Belgian visa regime.

You must go to an enterprise counter once you have received your professional card, in order to obtain your enterprise number and register with the Enterprise Crossroads Bank.

Have relevance of your project to the prosperity of the Brussels-Capital Region.

Possess basic management knowledge and in certain cases the necessary professional knowledge to meet the access requirements for the intended professional activities.

Have a valid right of residence in Belgium or in the country where you applied for your professional card.
