Throughout the last ten years, at least five years of experience working in the sectors that are relevant to the present position.

Social security benefits that cover medical care in Thailand, health insurance with at least USD 50,000 in coverage, or a down payment of at least USD 100,000.

Copies of company documents must be signed by the Board of Directors or authorized managing director and affix the seal of the company.

Additional documents may be requested as and when necessary. In the absence of a required document, the applicant must provide a letter explaining the unavailability of such document.

Applicant must have valid passport or travel document.

Applicant must have adequate finances to stay in Thailand.

Applicant must have a letter from the company indicating the applicant position, length of employment, salary, and purpose of visit(s) to Thailand.

Being allowed to stay in Thailand in accordance with the immigration laws, which means the applicant has no overstay record in Thailand.

No age limit is required for this program apart from the Elite Ultimate Privilege (Grand Package) which requires to be at least 20 years old. 

Not having been sentenced by a judgment to imprisonment in any countries except for an offense committed to negligence. 

Not having been declared as a person of unsound mind, incompetence, or quasi-incompetence.

Having passport with visa granted by the Embassy or Consular Office abroad or by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Not having been sentenced to imprisonment by Thai court’s judgment or lawful order, or foreign court’s judgment, except for in case of a petty offence or an offence committed to negligence.

Not being a person against whom arrest warrant has been issued by Thai government or foreign government, nor a person whose name is listed in a watch list of Thai government or foreign government.

Not having been exiled by Thai government or foreign government or deported by the official.

Not being a person considered harmful to the society or likely to disturb the peace or public safety or security of the Kingdom of Thailand.

Not being a person entering into the Kingdom of Thailand and engaged in business against public order or good moral.

Being a person permitted to reside in or enter into the kingdom of Thailand in accordance with the Immigration Act B.E. 2522 or other immigration related laws.

Being a person travelling to or departing the Kingdom of Thailand via the channels, checkpoints, stations, or areas designated in the Immigration Act B.E. 2522 or other immigration related laws.

Being a person travelling to or departing the Kingdom of Thailand and having submitted all particulars in accordance with the forms, methods, and conditions required and having passed immigration checking processes by immigration officer at the underlying checkpoint.

Not being a person involved, directly or indirectly, in bankruptcy or insolvency liquidation.

Not being a person involved, directly or indirectly, in money laundry or financial crime.

I am aware of my duty to conduct 90-day report when I stay 90 days consecutively in Thailand.

How to Move to Thailand as an Entrepreneur

Financial evidence showing a deposit of no less than 600,000 Baht or equivalent in a bank account in Thailand oroverseas which has been held for at least 3 months. (*In the case of being accompanied by spouses and children, an additional amount of deposit of no less than 180,000 Baht per person or equivalent is required in a bank account in Thailand or in the country of his/her nationality or residence, which has been held for at least 3 months).

Company profile, company annual report, brochures or catalogues.

Having established a startup company in Thailand, certified as being the ones in the targeted industries by relevant government agencies such as the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) and Digital Economy Promotion Agency.

Holding no less than 25% of the company’s registered capital or a position of a director of the abovementioned company.

Having a deposit of no less than 600,000 Baht or equivalent in a bank account in Thailand or in the country of his/her nationality or residence, which has been held for at least 3 months.

In the case of being accompanied by spouses and children, an additional amount of deposit of no less than 180,000 Baht per person or equivalent is required in a bank account in Thailand or in the country of his/her nationality or residence, which has been held for at least 3 months.

Having health insurance covering the entire period of stay in Thailand for the applicant as well as spouse and children.

Passport or travel document with validity of not less than 6 months

Recent passport-sized photograph (4 x 6 cm) of the applicant taken within the past 6 months

Letter of approval from the Ministry of Labour.  To obtain this letter, the applicant’s prospective employer in Thailand is required to submit Form WP3 at the Office of Foreign Workers Administration, Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour

Copy of Work Permit issued by the Ministry of Labour and alien income tax or Por Ngor Dor 91 (only in the case where applicant has previously worked in Thailand)

You must have a job contract from a Thailand employer

You must have Letter of approval from the Ministry of Labour, which will be obtained by your employer

You must have a valid passport or travel document, not less than 6 months of validity

You must show evidence of enough funds (20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family) at the time of application

You must of good health and character and be able to provide evidence, if required

You should have the qualifications and professional experience for the job offered, as applicable

Letter of acceptance from the concerned academic institute/organisation.

For those wishing to study in a Private institution, an official letter from the Ministry of Education of Thailand, or other sub-authorities concerned, approving the enrolment of foreign students and a copy of the registration certificate of the concerned academic institute are required.

Academic record and the Student ID (if currently studying).

For those wishing to attend a seminar, or training session, or internship, a recommendation letter from the concerned organization addressed to the Consulate is also required.

You need a passport/travel document valid for at least 6 months.

You must to be accepted/enrolled in a course of an approved university/college in Thailand.

You must register for at least 3 courses per semester and show in your application that you are a serious student.

You must obtain the letter of acceptance from the university enrolled.

You must register and pay the complete tuition fee in the first 90 days of arrival in Thailand to get an extension for your entire course duration.

In your entire duration of stay, you must register your address at the Immigration Bureau, every 90 days.

You may require valid travel insurance covering the entire period of your studies.

Additional requirements might be present. Please check with your University/College for details.

Evidence of the incubation or accelerator program acceptance.

Attending an incubation or accelerator program or any other similar program which is in the targeted industries and certified by relevant government agencies such as the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) and Digital Economy Promotion Agency.

In case of not participating in an incubator or a similar program, the applicant must either receive joint venture funding with the public sector or endorsed by relevant government agencies such as the Digital Economy Promotion Agency.
