You must be a professional or specialist, with proven experience, in the areas of science, technology and innovation.

You must be hired by a technology services company that holds a letter of invitation from InvestChile (for foreign companies), the Undersecretariat of Economy (in the case of local companies) or from Start-Up Chile (if the company is associated with this program) .

You need valid travel health insurance in Chile.

2 recent color photographs, id size (3x2cm).

An original work contract signed by the employer and the employee in front of a notary must be submitted, (indicating the Tax Code No) of the company or Id Card if it is a natural person).

Work contract must have Validity Clause, Trip Clause, Social Security Clause, Income Tax Clause.

You need a passport valid for at least 6 months.

You need a work contract from an employer in Chile.

1 photocopy of the last 3 monthly payments of retirement income or pension, duly legalized.

Or, 1 photocopy Certificate from the Consul of the country of origin certifying the pension or retirement income in national currency (Chilean Peso, CLP) or equivalent in US dollars, legalized before a notary.

For person of independent means: Proof of regular passive income, through the presentation of lease contracts held in Chile or abroad, or other similar documents that indicate the periodical obtaining of economic resources. Whatever the document, you must present a photocopy notarized before a notary.

Original or Certified copy of Marriage Certificate (if applicable).

Original or Certified copy of Birth Certificate (if applicable).

If you intend to invest or set up a business, following documents are required:

If the capital has been transferred to Chile, prove through bank or customs documentation or any document that demonstrates that you have capital in Chile.

If the capital has not been transferred to Chile, prove by means of any suitable document in your name, that demonstrates that you have capital abroad that will allow you to make the declared investment and that you possess means to support yourself and your dependents in the country.

If you have already invested or started a business, following documents are required:

Demonstrate transfer of capital to the country, corresponding to the money contributed to the company by the person applying for residence.

Deed of the constitution of the society and later modifications.

Contract of lease, sale or deeds of property, that support the development of the project.

Payroll of contracted workers, with their respective historical certificates of social security payments.

You need a Business plan or Investment plan.

You need proof of transfer of capital to the country.

You need proof of Real estate sales and purchase agreement.
