An official letter of leave from the employer (signed and stamped) – for employees.

You might be asked to prove that you already have knowledge of German and may even request you to pay your language course fees in advance.

You need to apply for this visa from your home country.

You must have a confirmation of the language course (with at least 18 hours/week of classes) from Germany.

You must have a health insurance and enough means of subsistence to cover your stay in Germany.
