The "Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa" Scheme enables nationals of non-EU and non-EEA nations who may operate remotely using telecommunications technology to temporarily stay in Cyprus, work for an employer with a registered office overseas, or work remotely for organizations or clients situated abroad.
The Scheme's objective is to increase Cyprus' position as a hub for the delivery of electronic services, where, when combined with the other benefits Cyprus has to offer, the draw of digital nomads will help the country's economy grow by expanding the business environment. In line with the Strategy for Attracting Businesses for Activities or/and Expansion of Their Activities in Cyprus, the "Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa Scheme" will be introduced.
