About

The Czech Republic does not have a specific Digital Nomad visa, but SOME digital nomads can use the Zivno or "Zivnostenske opravneni" visa. This permit is intended for foreigners moving to the Czech Republic as non-EU citizens who intend to work as a contractor / freelancer or to carry out their own business. Please note that if you are a digital nomad who is not a freelancer with a business plan for the Czech Republic, you will not be able to apply.

The most common candidates are English teachers (as language schools usually don't offer jobs, only contract work), software developers or other freelancers (tattoo artists, etc.).

You must apply at the Czech embassy in your country. Some nationalities, such as the US, Canada and Mexico, can apply at any office worldwide. On the day of the interview, the broker will ask you about your business plan, education, experience and knowledge of the Czech tax system.
