Foreigners are legally required to obtain a work visa which provides you with full authorization to live and work in Argentina. Applications for a working visa may only be submitted at the Consular Office of the Argentine Republic in the place of residence of the foreign national. After which the temporary residence visa application should be submitted to the Argentinian Embassy or consulate in the applicant’s country of residence or origin.
A Temporary Residence Visa is initially granted for up to 12 months and is renewable. The DNI (Documento Nacional de Identidad) card is issued with validity in line with the visa.
