Intra-corporate transfer is the temporary transfer for work or training of a third country national for a period exceeding 90 days by an undertaking or group established in a third country to an entity belonging to the undertaking or to the same group and established in the EU and includes the mobility of third country nationals between companies of the same group based on one or more second Member States of the EU.


  • Gather the required documents
  • Submit the application and the documents to the Central Offices of the Civil Registry and Migration Department.
  • The application for long-term mobility permit may be submitted when the transferee is abroad or when her/he is in Cyprus for short-term mobility. It is submitted by the company in Cyprus (employer) at the central offices of the Civil Registry and Migration Department. Fees as determined by a Decree of the Minister of Interior are payable.


A third-country national may be intra-corporately transferred to the EU for a period which cannot, in any case, exceed the following period:

  • Managers: 3 years
  • Specialists: 3 years

5 Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicant must be a non EU/EEA country citizen.
  • Applicant must have the employment contract with the terms explained for the purpose of stay.
  • Applicant must have travel document validity of which should cover the duration of the residence permit.
  • Applicant must have sufficient mean of subsistence to live in Cyprus.
  • Applicant must have place of accommodation in Cyprus.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Intra Company Visa - Managers & Specialists?

7 Document Required

  • Visa application form, completed and signed.
  • Copies of job offer letter from an employer.
  • Duly certified original Medical Certificate accompanied by medical examinations for Hepatitis B and C, AIDS, HIV, Syphilis and report of chest x-ray for Tuberculosis.
  • Copies of work experience from previous employers.
  • Statement of financial responsibility for the applicant (individual or sponsored).
  • Two recent colour photographs.
  • Receipt of payment of the application fees.
