This is intended for Non-EU/EEA member states and Non Switzerland citizens who intend to stay in Czech Republic for more than 90 days and do business contributing to the economy of the nation. This visa is valid up-to maximum of 1 year. To continue the duration of the stay, a long stay residence permit needs to be applied.

What are eligibility requirements for the Entrepreneur Visa?

4 Eligibility Requirements

  • You must have a valid travel document.
  • You must prove sufficient funds (min of 101,000 CZK).
  • You must have an accommodation in Czech Republic to stay during the course of visa.
  • You must be able to prove your purpose of stay in documentation.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Entrepreneur Visa?

7 Document Required

  • A valid travel document (original).
  • A document confirming the entry into the pertinent business register, list or record.
  • Proof of funds like bank account statement with your name as account holder with an amount minimum of 101.000 CZK.
  • A document similar to an extract from the Penal Register record, issued by the state of which you are a citizen, as well as the states in which, in the last 3 years, you have resided continuously for a period longer than 6 months. (Can provide signed affidavit in the event that this state does not issue such a document). Submit if requested.
  • A document proving the fulfilment of conditions set out in the measure of Ministry of Health on prevention of the spread of infectious illnesses (if requested).
  • Proof of medical insurance (when requested).
  • Criminal history record certificate.
