You must provide the Sponsor details like name, address, telephone number, email address, fax, to the Ministry of Home Affairs for processing before arrival at Guyana.
Place of employment must be an established business and must be registered and be compliant with NIS and GRA rules/regulations.
Your employer should present you details to the Ministry of Home Affairs, prior to your arrival.
The approval for the issue of work permit and visa should be obtained by the employer and the immigration department.
You must have a valid passport/travel document.
Additional requirements may be present on case basis.

Which documents do I need to apply for the Work Permit?

Valid employment contract.
Valid passport.
Approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the issue of the work permit (as applicable).
