A student visa is needed to be able to study in UAE. To get a visa students require a sponsor or contact. In case you do not have any contact, university can sponsor you.

Work During Studies:

You can work for 6 hours per day as a part-time job. This is as per the labor law in the UAE which allows students to work while studying after obtaining the required permission.

The processing time for study visa may take from 6-12 weeks from the application day.

You can bring spouse and kids with you.

The passport remains at the Embassy / Consulate during the entire process of visa proceeding

  • You need a passport/travel document valid for at least 3-6 months
  • You must to be accepted/enrolled in a course of an approved university/college in UAE.
  • You need sufficient funds to cover your studies or a scholarship which confirms the payment of the tuition fees
  • You need to have details of accommodation at your destination
  • You may require valid travel insurance covering the entire period of stay
  • Enough funds to pay your tuition fee in advance
  • In case of post graduate students will have to proof that they have recognized undergraduate degree
  • Upon arrival students will undergo detail medical examination
  • Additional requirements might be present. Please check with your University/College for details.

Which documents do I need to apply for the UAE Student Visa?

  • Visa application form, completed and signed
  • 4 copies of valid passport with expiry of atleast 12 months.
  • 12 photographs with plain background.
  • Original and copy of admission offer letter from UAE university
  • Copy of tuition fee receipt for the current study year of the program
  • Copy of visa fee reciept
  • Certified copies of previous academic degrees
  • Copy of travel medical insurance
