Letter of admission from the educational center.

Certification by the school or center of study containing: the basic information of the applicant, duration of the studies, and subjects or courses that have been registered, and major degree sought.

If the courses are exclusively nocturnal hours, the certification by the University must certify that the courses only are given at night.

Solvency of economic reliability, which will be verified by the submission of a document of gained scholarship of studies; b. Certification authenticated by the parents of the student where they are responsible for the expenses of study and constancy of their relationship; c. Bank letter issued on behalf of the applicant or person financially responsible indicating the person’s sufficient solvency to pay for the education costs and living expenses.

In the case the student has a sponsoring national resident, the sponsor must present a letter that accredits: a. The commitment to assume the expenses of education and its basic needs; b. Copies of the personal national identity card or immigration resident card of the responsible citizen or resident.

Certification of the City of Knowledge Foundation from its Executive Director, verifying the existence of the busines, the work that the foreigner carries out, and the term of their stay in Panama.

In case of investing through a legal entity, you must submit an affidavit of the Secretary or Treasurer of the Company (cannot be submitted by the interested party), certifying the activities, the ownership of the shares registered in the owner´s name issued in favor of the foreign applicant duly released and paid and the amount of capital stock.

Certification by the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) which details the full amount invested directly in the reforestation activity and that is the investor’s capital. (The Accountant should attach a copy of the identity card and of the valid license).

Authenticated copy of the share certificate issued in favor of the forestry investors.

Copy of the Company’s Statement of Income, where the capital invested appears. If since the organization of the Company a fiscal period has not elapsed, a copy of the Certification of Registration in the Single Taxpayer Registry and a copy of the Corporate Tax must be submitted in its place.

Proof of the investment made directly in reforestation activities which can be evidenced by documents such as bank certificate of the transfer of funds or of the payment (mandatory), audited financial statements, commercial invoices of purchases and sales or documents or proofs of imports of goods.

Payment of two hundred and fifty balboas with 00/ 100 (131.250.00) in favor of the National Immigration Service which is approx. $250USD.

If you apply as a freelancer: Certification or verification of your business, duly registered abroad, used by you to conduct business. OR A statement describing a business relationship with a client providing services before a notary public must include the following information: Full name is taken, general information of the applicant and client, services provided to a specific client, number of services provided, cash generated and the payment cycle for services rendered.

To prove your income, you need to show either your account statement showing that the income was earned abroad and is related to a certain employment status or a statement of account with the accreditation stamp from the issuing bank confirming the remittance operation of a foreign or local bank and attesting its relevance to a specific employment status.

You are self-employed, contracted as an employee of a foreign company with a transnational character or work remotely. 

Execution of influential functions abroad through IT.

Income earned in a foreign country of 36,000 Balboa annually that is approx. 3,000USD monthly for a year.
