Identity proof: two acceptable photos of your head and shoulders and your passport or certificate of identity

A chest x-ray and a medical examination as a proof of your good health.

Character certificate by police department of your home country (Less than 6 months old)

Confirmation from applicant on the application form stating that he/she is fit and proper person requirements.

 An acceptable English language test result or evidence of an English-speaking background or evidence you're a competent user of English for other reasons.

Evidence that you own the funds and/or assets to invest may include (bank statements, title deeds, property valuations, share certificates, business ownership documents, asset valuations)

Evidence of a detailed business plan for the business you intend to operate in New Zealand.

Certified copy of your New Zealand occupational registration.

Declaration in the ‘Entrepreneur Work Visa Application’ agreeing that you’ll take part in an evaluation of the Entrepreneur Work Visa Category,

Applicant must have minimum capital investment of NZ$100,000, except if the business is in the science or ICT sectors (excluding working capital)

Applicant must score 120 points or more, with points awarded for factors about the likely success of the business and its value to New Zealand.

Applicant must provide a detailed business plan for the business you intend to operate in New Zealand.

Applicant must have clean recent history of bankruptcy, business failure and fraud.

Applicant must meet health, character and English language requirements.

Applicant must have either set-up or purchased at least 25% of the shareholding in New Zealand business and have been running that business for at least 6 months.

Applicant must start business within 12 months of getting visa.

Applicant must agree to take part in New Zealand occupational registration, if it is required to run Business in New Zealand.

You must have been the same quarantine-free travel zone for 14 days.

You must provide proof of your identity: 2 acceptable photos of your head and shoulders; your original or a certified copy of your passport or certificate of identity; your original or a certified copy of your full birth certificate.

You must be in good health by having a chest x-ray and a medical examination.

You must be of good character: If you are 17 or over, you must provide a police certificate from: your country of citizenship or any country you have lived in for 5 years or more since you turned 17 years old. (When you’re selected by the Edmund Hillary Fellowship you must apply for a police certificate as soon as possible).

You must confirm in the application form that you meet fit and proper person requirements.

You must be able to demonstrate a high standard of English.

You must have access to th.e equivalent of NZ$36,000 to support yourself and your family for the first year in New Zealand.

You must have been accepted into the Edmund Hillary Fellowship to apply for a Global Impact Work Visa.

If you were selected on the basis of an investor profile you must provide evidence that investment funds and/or assets were earned legally.

You can only apply for a Global Impact Work Visa once you have been selected by the Edmund Hillary Fellowship.

You must remain on the Edmund Hillary Fellowship for 30 months before applying for permanent residence. To be eligible for residence, you must maintain the support of the Edmund Hillary Fellowship.

You cannot include a partner or dependent children in your work visa application, but they can apply for visas based on their relationship to you. They will need to meet residence health and character criteria.
