Application Form to Enter Mauritius to be filled and signed by the applicant or by representative on his behalf.

2 recent passport size photographs of the applicant and his dependents (where applicable).

Photocopy of the data pages of applicant's passport.

Letter of sponsor from the company or local counterpart.

Documentary evidence that work permit has been applied for.

Applicant to produce documentary evidence of family relationship, if accompanied by family or any dependent i.e. birth and marriage certificates.

Applicant's children, who have attained the age of 18 years old, should apply for residence permit separately with sponsoring letter from parents.

The duly completed and signed application form must be submitted.

Certificate of Incorporation together with the register of shareholders.

A Board resolution nominating ‘the director’ who will act on behalf of the PDS Company.

Detailed business plan containing: Background of promoters and investors, Project components and description,Proposed date of start of construction, Marketing plans, Detailed financial structure of project (projected cash flow, annual income statement, selling price).

Site/location plan by sworn land surveyor and context plan as per Outline Scheme.

Detailed master plan for the whole project – A document that describes, with a map, the overall development concept. 

Title Deed of the present land owner in case the promoter is bringing land as “apport en capital” in the project.

Valuation report of the subject property (prepared by a chartered land valuer) where the project shall be implemented.

Documents showing proof of funds - A bank confirmation or a letter of arrangement that demonstrates that the investor has the ability and funds available for the project.

You can be a citizen of Mauritius, a non-citizen or a member of the Mauritian Diaspora; or

A company incorporated or registered under the Companies Act; or

A société, where its deed of formation is deposited with the Registrar of Companies; or

A limited partnership under the Limited Partnerships Act; or

A trust, where the trusteeship services are provided by a qualified trustee; or

You must have a Detailed business plan containing of Background of promoters/shareholders, Project components and description, Marketing plan, Work programme and implementation schedule, Detailed financial structure of project, Capital structure.

You must obtain the approval letter from EDB (Economic development Board).

Original letter of admission in a recognized educational establishment or TVET institution.

Details of duration of the course and confirmation from the Tertiary Education Commission or Mauritius Qualifications Authority that the chosen course is a full time or part time.

Documentary evidence of availability of funds or financial capacity to meet costs of study and stay in Mauritius.

A medical certificate certifying that the applicant is not suffering from any contagious or infectious disease. A test for HIV, Hepatitis B and a chest X ray should be done at any private medical laboratory/clinic/hospital in Mauritius and the tests results and Chest X ray report should be submitted to the Passport and Immigration Office not later than one month after arrival.

You need a passport valid for at least 6 months.

You need to secure a seat in a tertiary educational institution or TVET institution registered respectively with Tertiary Education Commission or the Mauritius Qualification Authority.

You need sufficient funds to cover stay period.

Premium Visa Application Form duly filled online

Copy of airline ticket (including return ticket for intended period of stay – beyond 6 months)

Travel and Health Insurance for intended period of stay

Letter of accommodation for intended period of stay which can be either hotel booking, lease or rental agreement or letter of sponsorship, proof of address, copy ID or residence permit. 

Copy recent bank statements for the last three months or other proof of income/funds.

If you apply with your spouse, you also need a Spouse or Married Certificate (in English or French Language)

If you apply with your children, you need their Birth Certificate (in English or French Language), and a letter of consent if accompanied by one parent only

The office might require other documents for you as you apply

Do not enter the Mauritius Labour market. 

Have the main place of business and source of income and profits outside Mauritius
