Certificate of Eligibility obtained through the host organization.

Evidence regarding your activities in Japan like Leaflet, website, or related documents which certify the overview and curriculum of the host organization and explanation on why you want to learn Japanese culture.

Evidence regarding your academic/artistic background and achievement in the field of the related activities you intend to engage in Japan (as applicable).

Proof of funds showing that you can sustain the stay in Japan without pay, like bank statements, scholarships, etc.

In case of learning Japanese-oriented culture, arts, and crafts; the evidence of the professionals and experts (if applicable).

Additional documents may be required on case basis.

Your intended activity in Japan has to be as one of the following: Academic activities, Artisitic activities or exclusive research and learning activities related to Japanese culture; No pay involved.

You have to certify that you can afford to live in Japan without pay or have a sponsor to cover your stay in Japan.

You must obtain a certificate of Eligibility through your sponsor.

Your visa application must be sponsored by one of those schools/professionals/experts who is willing to provide the lessons/classes to you in Japan based on their specific curriculum/schedule, so you must find the school/person who can sponsor your visa application in advance.

Copies of valid passport (like the bio page, past visas, etc)

Visa application form, completed and signed

Copies of estimated travel plan during the stay in Japan 

A note explaining the reasons why applicant wants to participate in the Working Holiday program (free format)

 A recent passport photo (4.5cm x 4.5cm, face and white background) 

 Copies of proof of sufficient means of subsistence, eg. bank statements

Character and health certificate, if applicable

Applicant must be residing in Hungary at the time of initiating the process.

Applicant must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the time of applying for the visa

Applicant must not be accompanied by dependents, unless they have their own visas and are able to afford their stay during this period of time.

Applicant must have the round trip ticket or sufficient funds to purchase such a ticket 

Applicant must have sufficient funds for maintenance during the initial period of stay in Japan

Applicant must have the intention to leave the Japan at the end of stay

Applicant must have not previously obtained a working holiday visa of Japan 

Applicant must have comprehensive health insurance in Japan
